The Mint has had a decent makeover. For a long time it was a quiet BC trickle that ran on its own and gave you little reason to grow it. That changes now. Building a bigger Mint pays off more, your fuel finally does something exciting, and your whole faction can share in the rewards. Here is what is new:

If we are a bit less vague (yet still allowing to explore)…
1. Bigger Mints earn a lot more
Before, every part you added to your Mint paid the same flat amount, so going bigger never really felt worth it. Now the Mint rewards investment. The more you level up each part, the faster its earnings climb, so deep building pays off instead of standing still.
On top of that, every part you add gives a small boost to the whole Mint. A wide Mint with many parts now lifts itself, up to a healthy cap. Newer players will barely notice a change, while players who go deep and wide will see their BC output grow several times over.
2. Fuel now powers your Work, not just passive BC
Fuel used to be turned straight into a small pile of BC, which was a poor trade for something so expensive to build. We have given fuel a much better job. Your Mint still earns BC on its own in the background, but now a fueled Mint makes your Work action pay more every time you do it.
The size of that bonus grows with how much you have built, and for the first time your character tier matters for Work too. Push your Mint harder and the bonus gets bigger. Let the fuel run dry and the bonus simply switches off until you top it up again.
There is a second perk. While your Mint is fueled and running, each Work action has a chance to cut your Work cooldown short, letting you act again sooner. Even when that lucky cut does not land, you still shave a little time off the wait, so a fueled Mint always helps your pace.
3. Two new Mint upgrades
To unlock these fuel perks you first research the new Work Coupling node, then buy one or both of two new Mint upgrades:
- Work Amplifier raises how much a fueled Mint can boost your Work payout. Higher tiers mean a bigger ceiling.
- Work Cooldown Destroyer raises the chance that a Work action cuts your cooldown short. Higher tiers mean a better chance.
Researching alone does not give you the boost. You need to buy the upgrades to feel the effect, so you can choose to lean into raw payout, faster actions, or both.
One thing worth knowing about the Work Amplifier: buying tiers raises the ceiling, but reaching the very top of that ceiling takes more than the upgrade. Your boost grows with how much you have built and how high your Ascension tier climbs, so the biggest multipliers are a long term goal you grow into, not something you can buy outright. That keeps the top end rewarding for players who keep building and ascending.
4. Share your Mint with your faction
The biggest new idea is teamwork. Once you research the new routing node, you get a slider that lets you send a share of your minted BC into a shared faction Mint buffer. You decide how much to keep for yourself and how much to give.
There is a boost for giving away while your Mint is fueled. The portion you route during fueled time arrives in the faction buffer with a 15% bonus on top. Anything that does not fit in the buffer simply stays with you, so nothing is ever wasted.
The faction buffer has a limit that grows as your faction builds more halls, same mechanics as the Vault itself. To turn that buffer into spendable faction funds, a player with Sergeant rank or higher moves it into the faction vault. This keeps the shared pot under trusted control while still letting every member chip in.
What this means for you
Whether you play solo or with a team, the Mint is now worth your attention. Grow it deep to earn far more. Keep it fueled to make your Work hit harder and your cooldowns shorter. And if you are in a faction, route some of your earnings to help everyone grow together. Go build something big.
