The Fun House has been open for a few days, and some of its rewards turned out far too generous. This update rebalances the Fun House Shop, its titles and coins, a few achievements, and how chips won from other players are counted. Here is everything that changed, why, and what happened to what you already had.
Fun House Coins
Fun House Coins sold for 100 million chips each. That was far too cheap for an item that protects your Coinflip losses: players bought more than 1,700 of them in the first three days. Coin sales and use were paused while we sorted this out, and are now back on.
- New price: 999 million chips per coin.
- Refund: coins you bought and still held were refunded at the old price into your Fun House winnings. Coins you used up count as the bought ones first, so coins from achievements were never refunded.
Fun House Shop titles
Titles used to cost chips and nothing else, and many players owned all of them within days. Each house game now has its own title, and you unlock it by doing something special in that game.
| Title | Game | Unlocks with | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🎡 Spin Doctor | Roulette | Green and Mean | 1 billion chips |
| 🍀 Four-Leaf Fortune | Slots | So Close | 1 billion chips |
| 🎩 Card Sharp | Blackjack | Seen It All | 1 billion chips |
| 🎲 Bone Roller | Dice | Snake Eyes and Boxcars | 1 billion chips |
| 👑 King of the Fun House | All | Own the other four titles | 10 billion chips |
Duels and Poker are played against other players, not against the house, so they don’t have a Shop title.
Refund: every title you owned was refunded at the price you paid, into your winnings, and removed. If you had a Fun House title showing on your profile, it went back to your rank title. Buy the titles again under the new rules.
Beat the House
Beat the House is earned by owning every Shop title. Since all titles were refunded and removed, Beat the House was reset too, and its reward (500 million chips and 25 Fun House Coins) was taken back as far as your balance allowed. You can earn it again by owning all five titles under the new rules.
Regular
The Regular achievement counts Fun House games played, and its first tiers came too quickly. The thresholds are higher now, and so are the chip rewards. Fun House Coin rewards are the same as before.
| Tier | Games before | Games now | Chips now |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100 | 1,000 | 30,000 |
| 2 | 1,000 | 5,000 | 150,000 |
| 3 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 175,000 |
| 4 | 10,000 | 25,000 | 550,000 |
| 5 | 25,000 | 50,000 | 1,100,000 |
Tiers you already claimed stay claimed, and you received the difference in chips for each of them.
Jackpot Hunter
Jackpot Hunter needed two slots jackpots, and each one is about a 1 in 262,144 spin. That was simply too much. It now needs a single jackpot, which rewards 1 billion chips, 15 Fun House Coins and the Jackpot Hunter title. If you had already claimed it, you received the difference.
Buy-in, PvP chips and winnings
Only your house winnings can be spent in the Fun House Shop. Until now, chips you won from other players in Duels and Poker counted as winnings too. That meant chips another player bought could end up spent in the Shop by someone else. Your chips are now split three ways, and the Chip wallet shows each part:
- Buy-in: chips you bought, and chips you got as achievement rewards.
- PvP chips: chips you won from other players in Duels and Poker.
- Winnings: profit from Slots, Roulette, Dice and Blackjack. The only part you can spend in the Shop.
When chips leave, they come out of the parts in this order:
| When you | Chips come out of |
|---|---|
| Lose in Slots, Roulette, Dice or Blackjack | Winnings, then buy-in, then PvP chips |
| Lose a Duel or at Poker | PvP chips, then buy-in, then winnings |
| Cash out | Winnings, then PvP chips, then buy-in |
| Buy something in the Shop | Winnings only |
So a loss to another player never eats your house game winnings while you still have PvP chips or buy-in to cover it. Chips you won from other players before this update stay where they already are.
Also new
The Fun House has a new house game, Dice, with two new achievements, Snake Eyes and Boxcars, and Seen Every Face. Blackjack has a new long shot of an achievement too: double down on a hard 20 and win the hand to earn Never Tell Me the Odds and the Scoundrel title. The full list is in the patch notes.
