It's here! The Version 7 update of Bconomy has gone live after months of frontend and backend work and extensive testing by our awesome Preview gang. With this update many difficult but necessary game balancing changes were made (refer to the December 2022 Changelog for more info) and we transition to a hybrid browser game with our NEW Web Client!

I've always wanted to make a browser experience, and as Bconomy has grown from a simple economy game to feature crafting, farming, pets and more, this upgrade made perfect sense. Check out music, SFX, animations, graphics, convenient shortcuts, text commands, and more along with in-game chat linked to our Community Discord server. Let me know if there are any suggestions or feature requests! It's only a start and we plan to add MUCH more as time goes on.

❄️ Winter 2022 Event
We're a bit late to the party but our Winter 2022 Event kicks off NOW! Grab quest rewards, refreshed Crate loot, and XP to collect Stockings, ❄️ Snowflakes and tons more loot! Celebrate with snowfall animations and holiday music on the Web Client! This event will run though January and February and more quests and quest rewards will be announced as time goes on.

☯️ Game Balance Changes
Significant game balance changes have been made to rank and Ascend costs, item uses, crafting, farming/generators, and more. These changes serve to compress progression as well as make day-to-day gameplay more dynamic and exciting with more items to collect. The primary purpose is to reel back many unbalanced elements that were introduced throughout our two-year history. Pacing (rank costs, etc) may be a bit slow but we plan to adjust as needed. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding through these significant changes.

☹️ Where are my Pets/Perks/Stocks/Trades/etc…?
Due to the massive scope of a rewrite of the backend game code, changes in data storage, and learning of how to code a front end UI (by one person!) unfortunately not all features were able to make it into v7. But don't worry! They'll come back as soon as possible and rebalanced to play a more significant goal in the overall game ecosystem. I don't have a hard ETA for these unfortunately but understand that reintroducing these features is my top priority for development after ensuring game stability. But don't fret, you haven't lost anything!

This launch represents months of learning, coding, and testing and I hope you enjoy the new client and gameplay changes! There's so much to look forward to, with the Pet Expansion on the horizon, mobile apps for the game, and interactive gameplay online. Thanks for sticking around – and stay warm out there! 🙂

⏱️ Due to personal scheduling reasons the v7 update will be pushed a bit earlier to 12/18

The web client preview has been updated to a near-final state! You can check it at https://bconomy.net/ (report any bugs in chat!)

️ Long-awaited bCommands are returning! (bw, be, bf, etc) – due to Discord limitations they will only be available in the Community server upon the v7 release.

❄️ The 2022 Winter Event is just around the corner! Sit by the fire and relax with a new campaign, more items, and Web Client theming/music!

✨ Due to game balance changes many Prestige Perks will be temporarily disabled as the new ecosystem settles.

Pet features will be temporarily disabled as well (I will work to get these back ASAP once v7 is stable)

️ Voting has been replaced by Daily Rewards which grant Quest Rewards and Shards in addition to crates. These will be claimable from the Web Client (no ad-viewing required!)

This update has been in the works for months and I've spent hours creating the Web Client and rebalancing the game, and I'm so excited to finally release it! Looking forward to the launch date 🙂

It's finally here! As previously announced, the Bconomy Web Client will be open for ALL USERS to play with for the next ~48 hours. This is a PREVIEW DEVELOPMENT build and ALL DATA CAN AND WILL BE ERASED, it is only intended to gather community feedback and test for bugs. Hello everyone! I'll be online and answering questions in (Discord channel) via text chat for the next few hours. Possibly voice chat if there is enough interest but I would like answers to be viewable afterwards so most likely mainly via text. Stop by if you can!

Hey folks! I'll be active for a few hours on the Bcommunity server for a LIVE Q&A session on December 10 around 8PM EST! You'll be able to ask questions during the event about the game, plans for the future, upcoming content updates, and ask about suggestions. I'll be answering questions in chat as well as possibly in a voice channel (if there is enough interest!), if you're available please stop by and hang out with us! I'll also look to set up a way to send questions before the event if you aren't able to make it.

️ During Saturday and Sunday I will also be opening up the initial version of the Web Client for public testing! As our Preview Testers have found out it's a bit barebones, but you'll be able to catch a glimpse of what's coming to the game as well as help make sure multiplayer features work properly. All users will be able to access the pre-release of the Bconomy Web Client for Mobile and Desktop, from right after the Q&A session ends until Monday.
