-Heavy backend changes: Migrating to brand new host and upgrade to latest Discord API version
-Internal database changes for better scalability and decreasing bot response time, and to prepare for v7
-Stock market prices have been frozen and buying stocks is disabled for the moment
-Achievements have been disabled and will be merged into Quests in a coming update
-Voting has been disabled while we sort out backend changes. Your streaks will not be lost!
-Bet and Lottery gameplay features are no longer present
-Partner/Patreon rewards have been disabled for now

Balance changes for the next update will be revealed in 1-2 weeks hopefully. Have a spooky halloween!

Today I was informed by Discord Inc. that Bcoins/Bconomy is in violation of App Discovery guidelines due to the inclusion of "features related to gambling". Unfortunately, this means that all gameplay and features related to the "bet" and "lottery" minigames will be removed effective next update so that we will be in compliance with Discord's requirements and can continue to fully operate on this platform.

I will be appealing and asking for clarification on this decision since we have never advocated for any true "gambling" or risking items of real-world value. Unfortunately, this ruling is otherwise entirely out of my control at the moment, and I will have to remove these features until further notice to stay 100% compliant. There is not much else I can say regarding this but I just wanted to post a notice so that the community is aware of the situation. Thanks for playing.

-Stock market prices will freeze and you will no longer be able to purchase stocks as the system is being completely redesigned. Please sell your stocks before the end of the year as current holdings will be removed in 2023.
-Achievements will be removed and no longer earnable since they will be merged into the Quests system. You have until 10/30/2022 to earn any rewards or Completionist trophies, since they will become legacy after – you'll never be able to get them again!
-Patreon and Partner rewards will no longer be claimable after 10/30/2022 since we are resetting the donor system. Please ensure that you claim all outstanding rewards with /patron verify before then.
-God's Plan prestige perk will be disabled as item boosts are being replaced by the upcoming Pet system. You will be able to refund the perk any time before or after the update.
-Some backend rewrites – unlikely to impact gameplay but expect features like activity log to temporarily break.

These changes are in preparation of a coming update where we aim to focus on making core features more enjoyable and rebalance the game in the context of the current meta and state of the in-game economy. More details will be released leading up to the year end so stay tuned.

The Sept. 2022 balance changes will not be pushed to live for the foreseeable future. Due to community feedback I am re-evaluating many of them and will notify once they have been finalized and are ready to enter the live game. Thanks all!

Brief update today but I just want to let everyone know about the status of the bot. Due to extensive community feedback I have decided to delay the balance patch for at least 1-2 months and will make an announcement once the changes are finalized. I apologize for the lack of communication regarding the update. In addition I have a huge surprise to share with everyone regarding the game before the end of 2022 so stay tuned!

In addition because there are significant changes coming to the donation system the Patreon will be paused meaning we will no longer be accepting donors for some time because we are possibly changing payment providers due to increased flexibility (not requiring monthly subs) and because there are potentially game changing updates coming and we would like to re-evaluate the role of the donor system in the overall ecosystem. Donors can continue to enjoy their perks (thanks for supporing us!) but re-subscribing will be disabled until further notice.
